Bay Area market

What electrical pays in the Bay.

The Bay Area pays electricians among the best rates in the country — union scale runs well north of $60/hr, and shops compete hard for licensed hands.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is it really free?

Yes. Employers pay a fee when they hire you, you never pay anything.

Do I need experience?

No. We match everyone from apprentices to lead techs. Tell us where you're at and we route you accordingly.

Do I need a license to start?

California requires state electrician certification (ECT) to work for a licensed C-10 contractor, but you can start as a trainee while you log hours — many Bay Area shops hire trainees and sponsor the path.

How fast will I hear back?

Most candidates hear from an employer within 1–2 business days of being matched.
