By accessing or using HyprStart (the "service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
HyprStart is a matching service. We find employers who are hiring in your trade and introduce you to them. Those opportunities can include apprenticeship programs and training providers that take on and pay apprentices, so "employer" below means any of them.
We are not a school, a staffing agency, a labor contractor, or an employer, and we do not make hiring decisions. The employer remains solely responsible for their own hiring and admission decisions, background checks, work-authorization verification, supervision, safety training, wages, and employment terms.
HyprStart is free to candidates. You never pay us anything, at any stage. We do not charge candidates for placement, for priority, or for access to opportunities.
We make our money from employers. When an employer hires someone we introduced, they pay us a placement fee. Those terms are in our Placement Terms.
An employer paying us does not buy control over who we introduce to them, and it does not change what we tell you about a role.
The service is new and offered on an early-access basis. Features may change, break, or be discontinued at any time, and the service may be unavailable, incomplete, or contain errors. We may modify, suspend, or terminate the service or your access to it at any time, without notice or liability.
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to work in the United States, and old enough to enter the trade or program you are applying to.
We do not guarantee a job, an apprenticeship, an interview, a placement, a response, or any particular wage, timeline, or outcome. Matches depend on your profile and on employer availability and interest.
Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between you and HyprStart. We do not act as your representative or agent in negotiating employment.
Employers, apprenticeship programs, and other third parties are independent of HyprStart. We do not control and are not responsible for their conduct, hiring practices, statements, offers, working conditions, or employment terms. Any dealings you have with them are solely between you and them.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HyprStart and its owners, operators, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any lost profits, lost wages, lost opportunities, or lost data, arising out of or relating to your use of the service or your dealings with any employer, even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). The service is free to candidates; these limits reflect that allocation of risk.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HyprStart and its owners, operators, and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your information, or your violation of these terms or any law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
